On 8th September Masters students and teachers of Social Work from Banasthali University have come to SIDART for a learning visit. They were shown a presentation about the Healthy and Happy Family project developed by SIDART and, after being aware of its aims, purposes and activities, they were invited to get involved in this. Therefore, the students were divided in groups and, with the supervision of SIDART volunteers, they went to the Jawahar Nagar slum area to speak to pregnant and post pregnant women about breastfeeding and child nutrition. Each of the groups made a questionnaire to 5 mothers in order to collect data and inform them all the key informations regarding to the importance and advantages of breastfeeding and child nutrition. In the end of the day, the students provided a feedback of the work developed, attesting the knowledge they have acquired and defining their performance as an awesome experience. It was definitely a reward to the students, to the mothers interviewed and to SIDART.
