In continuation with the Women Empowerment Program, SIDART in collaboration with Hanns Seidel Foundation will organize a Learning Visit to Delhi from 18 to 21 July. For this event, 35 women including SIDART team will participate.
During this learning visit, women will get the chance to know about the Parliament, its working and the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Indeed, women will have the opportunity to interact with the Member of the Parliament (MP) and other dignitaries at central level. Moreover, they would be able to visit the Parliament.
The learning visit will help the women representatives to increase the knowledge and skills about the federal governance system. They could be able to correlate the working between central level and grass root level.

The learning visit will be rewarding for both: to the village women representatives and to the Members of Parliament. Indeed, through to this learning visit, women will better understand the different issues that Members of Parliament face when they have to take important decisions and it will also facilitate to the Members of Parliament in considering the issues of the village/panchayat level.
